Assistant Cook

Assist in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring food items.
Support the Cook/Chef in preparing and cooking meals according to recipes and company standards.
Ensure food is prepared and presented in a clean and hygienic manner.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools as required.
Store food properly and monitor stock rotation using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
Assist with receiving, checking, and organizing food deliveries.
Help monitor food inventory and report shortages to the supervisor.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety regulations at all times.
Dispose of waste properly and keep garbage disposal areas clean.
Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
